Port Credit Secondary School was founded in 1919 and was the first high school in Peel. Our Present building opened in 1963. Port Credit celebrated its 80th anniversary in May 2000. The schools motto is 'Lux Numquam Desit' which is Latin for May The Light Never Fail. The crest of Port Credit resembles the old lighthouse beacon at the mouth of the Credit River and is decorated in the school colours of royal blue and gold.

* How would you like to join the illustrious PCSS Alumni Committee? We are always looking for volunteers to help organize the annual Alumni Nights (especially young folks - students who graduated in 1970s and 1980s). The money is not very good (zero, actually), but you do get a nifty navy blue golf shirt, and a personalized name badge! We're going to need more volunteers than ever for the 90th reunion next year. As you know, the PCSS Alumni Committee is responsible for this web site, and for organizing the annual Alumni Nights, but just who are these mysterious people anyway? For decades, the The PCSS Archives have been locked away and hidden from view. The Alumni Committee is now in the process of digitizing the school's archives and making them available for viewing on this web site. Our collection will be changing and expanding regularly so be sure to check back regularly.
